  Proxy

Explanation:
A proxy *server is a computer that works like a cahce. If a web page is requested for the first time, then it is stored on the proxy server. The next user that requests the same page is served directly from the proxy server instead of the remote server. This speeds up the transmission and reduced net-traffic.
